An innovation challenge organised by METEOR in strategic collaboration with EMTECH and Alibaba Cloud, focused on solving real operational challenges using AI, automation, cloud technology and no-code tools.
MINNOVATHON 2.0 is not a traditional hackathon. It is a structured innovation programme designed to solve real operational and workflow problems using AI, cloud technology, automation, and no-code tools.
Organised by METEOR in strategic collaboration with EMTECH and Alibaba Cloud, this programme brings together enterprise professionals, technologists, and innovators to build production-ready solutions - not just prototypes.
A proven three-phase methodology that transforms operational challenges into production-ready AI solutions.
Problem Identification
Identify and validate real operational pain points through stakeholder interviews, process mapping, and data analysis.
- Workflow audit
- Pain point mapping
- Feasibility assessment
Solution Development
Design and develop AI-powered solutions using no-code platforms, automation tools, and cloud infrastructure.
- AI model integration
- Workflow automation
- Cloud deployment
Enterprise Deployment
Validate solutions in production environments, measure impact, and prepare for enterprise-wide rollout.
- Production testing
- Impact measurement
- Scale planning
A unified technology stack designed for building, automating, and deploying AI-powered operational solutions at enterprise scale.
AI-powered coding assistant that accelerates development workflows, generates production-ready code, and automates complex programming tasks with intelligent context understanding.
Key Capabilities
Code generation,
Intelligent refactoring,
Context-aware suggestions,
Multi-language support
Each use case is derived from real operational challenges faced by enterprises. Participants select a challenge and build production-ready solutions.
The examples below are provided as reference ideas only. Teams are encouraged to identify and propose their own operational workflow challenges.
Automate the extraction, classification, and routing of operational documents using AI-powered OCR and NLP pipelines.
Replace manual approval chains with intelligent routing that learns from historical decisions and operational patterns.
Real-time visibility into workflow bottlenecks, resource allocation, and performance metrics with predictive insights.
A competitive innovation journey that takes teams from registration and idea development through multiple challenge phases towards becoming the next MINNOVATHON champion.
Register your team, select a challenge track, and get access to the technology platform and resources.

MINNOVATHON 2.0 is an enterprise-grade innovation challenge organised by METEOR in strategic collaboration with EMTECH and Alibaba Cloud. Unlike conventional hackathons, MINNOVATHON 2.0 focuses on solving real operational and workflow challenges using AI, cloud technologies, automation and no-code platforms. Participants are encouraged to develop practical and scalable solutions with real-world implementation potential.
MINNOVATHON 2.0 is exclusively open to non-IT staff from METEOR Group of Companies and invited IPTAs (Institutions of Higher Learning). The programme encourages participants from operational, academic, administrative, finance, HR, student management, customer service and business support functions to identify and solve real operational challenges using AI, automation and no-code technologies. Participants may register individually or in teams consisting of 1 to 3 members. Cross-functional collaboration is highly encouraged.
Not necessarily. MINNOVATHON 2.0 is specifically designed for operational and non-technical participants. Using AI-powered and no-code platforms, participants can develop practical digital solutions without requiring advanced programming knowledge. Technical mentors and facilitators will also be available throughout the programme to guide participants during solution development.
Participants will get access to Qoder (AI-powered coding assistant), Qoderwork (no-code workflow automation platform), and Alibaba Cloud infrastructure. Training materials and mentorship will be provided to help participants effectively utilise these tools during the programme.
Solutions will be evaluated based on Operational Impact, Technical Innovation, Feasibility of Deployment and Scalability & Long-Term Value. Judging panels will consist of enterprise leaders, industry practitioners and technology experts.
Selected ideas with strong operational value and implementation potential may progress into further development and evaluation phases. The goal is to move from prototype to production.
Registration fee details will be officially announced by the organisers prior to the registration deadline. Any promotional or early registration benefits will also be communicated through official channels.
Yes. Participants who successfully complete the programme will receive an official Certificate of Participation issued by the organisers.
No. Participants are required to utilise only the official platforms, tools, technologies and resources provided or approved by the organisers throughout the programme. This is to ensure a fair, standardised, secure and guided innovation environment for all participants, while maintaining consistency in mentorship, evaluation and solution development approaches.
All ideas, concepts, prototypes, and solutions developed under MINNOVATHON 2.0 shall remain under the ownership and governance of METEOR for programme, innovation and potential enterprise implementation purposes. The organisers and programme partners may utilise submitted materials for evaluation, demonstration, development and programme-related activities.
Yes. Mentors from industry and technology partners will guide participants throughout the programme, including technical advisory, solution validation, workflow optimisation and presentation preparation.
MINNOVATHON 2.0 will be conducted as a physical programme. Official schedules and participation guidelines will be communicated in advance.
