An innovation challenge initiated by METEOR in collaboration with EMTECH and Alibaba Cloud, focused on solving real operational challenges using AI, automation, cloud technology and no-code tools.
An innovation challenge initiated by METEOR in collaboration with EMTECH and Alibaba Cloud, focused on solving real operational challenges using AI, automation, cloud technology and no-code tools.
1. DEFINITIONS
• “Organiser” refers to METEOR.
• “Programme Manager & Technical Consultant” refers to EMTECH.
• “Technology Partner” refers to Alibaba Cloud.
2. ELIGIBILITY & PARTICIPATION
• Participation is open to IPTAs, IPTSs and approved institutions.
• Participants must be officially registered and aged 18 years and above.
3. TEAM COMPOSITION
• Three (3) participants per team.
• One (1) Team Leader must be appointed.
• Participants may only join ONE (1) team.
4. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
Participants are required to attend official briefings, comply with schedules, submit deliverables and maintain professional conduct.
5. PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
• Registration Opening : 12 May 2026
• Registration Closing : 24 June 2026
• Phase 1 : 30 June – 1 July 2026
• Phase 2 : 7 – 8 July 2026
6. DELIVERABLE REQUIREMENTS
Teams may be required to submit:
• Prototype/mockup/demo
• Pitch deck
• Technical explanation
• Workflow proposal
7. JUDGING & EVALUATION
Judging criteria may include innovation, feasibility, operational impact, scalability and presentation quality.
All judges’ decisions are final.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
METEOR will retain ownership of original ideas.
The Organiser and programme partners may showcase submitted solutions for programme purposes.
9. CONFIDENTIALITY
Participants shall maintain confidentiality over sensitive information obtained during the programme.
10. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION (PDPA)
Participants consent to the collection and use of personal data for programme management purposes.
11. MEDIA & PUBLICITY CONSENT
Participants consent to photography, videography and recordings for publicity and reporting purposes.
12. CODE OF CONDUCT
Participants must demonstrate professional behaviour and avoid plagiarism, misconduct or inappropriate conduct.
13. DISQUALIFICATION
The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify participants for misconduct, plagiarism, false information or rule violations.
14. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
15. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & ACCEPTANCE
I hereby acknowledge and agree to all Terms & Conditions stated herein.
